Informatica in Azienda provides IT consulting, digital forensics, and digital rights protection services, based in Bologna, operating nationally and internationally since 2001. We provide technical support to individuals, companies, professionals, and law firms in the documentation, analysis, and protection of data, identity, and digital content.
Our activities include forensic acquisitions and certifications of files, websites, digital communications, and social content, technical analysis, online identification, OSINT investigations, and technical support in cases of impersonation, fraud, threats, extortion, and other digital abuse.
Technical documentation is produced using integrity tools, digital signatures, cryptographic hashes, and time references applicable to the individual service. When qualified trust services are used, the related legal effects derive from applicable law, including the eIDAS Regulation within the European Union. The admissibility and evidentiary weight of the documentation remain subject to assessment by the competent authority according to the rules applicable to the individual proceeding.
Experience gained in digital forensics and digital content protection led to the development of DAPI, a preventive certification system designed to create a verified identity baseline before impersonation, voice cloning, deepfake, or other improper uses of digital identity can occur.

DAPI grew out of experience gained in the acquisition, certification, and analysis of digital evidence. The evolution of generative artificial intelligence systems introduced a further problem: when a deepfake, voice clone, or impersonation is discovered, it can become necessary to reconstruct what the pre-existing authentic reference was.
DAPI moves part of this problem upstream: it preventively creates a verified, temporally documented identity baseline, intended to be available before any abuse occurs.
